Oracle Unveils AI Agents to Streamline HR Processes
Oracle has introduced new role-based AI agents within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) to help businesses streamline HR processes and improve workforce productivity. Announced at Oracle CloudWorld, the AI agents are designed to automate time-consuming administrative tasks, allowing employees to focus on more meaningful work.
"The amount of time employees spend on complex HR processes can be overwhelming and distract from their primary job responsibilities," says Chris Leone, Executive Vice President of Applications Development, Oracle.
The AI agents integrate into Oracle Cloud HCM to enhance career development, compensation management, and employee lifecycle processes. By automating workflows, the tools aim to improve the employee experience while increasing operational efficiency for HR teams and business leaders.
"The new AI agents in Oracle Cloud HCM help HR and business leaders automate some of the most time-consuming tasks, enabling employees to focus on work that really matters, and unlocking new levels of productivity across their workforce," says Leone.
The AI agents support career and performance development by assisting employees in setting career goals, improving performance reviews, and identifying training opportunities. The career planning guide offers tailored career roadmaps and skill development recommendations based on an employee’s profile. Additionally, the learning and training advisor provides personalized training suggestions to align with career objectives.
For compensation and benefits, the AI agents help automate timecard submissions, provide guidance on tax withholdings, and offer insights on salary decisions. The timecard assistant ensures accurate tracking of hours worked, while the compensation guidelines analyst assists managers in making informed salary decisions based on market trends and company policies. Employees can also use the leave and absence analyst to navigate company policies related to time off and other leave benefits.
Oracle’s AI agents also aim to improve efficiency in employee lifecycle management. The onboarding assistant helps new hires acclimate to company policies and resources, while the job seeker analyst supports employees looking for internal career opportunities, says the company. Other tools assist in managing employment contracts, updating personal details, and accessing company-provided perks.
