In mid-2022, we all dreamed that ChatGPT would solve all our dilemmas — yes, all of them! The expectation was great: automate processes, replace tasks, and scale businesses overnight. Three years later, reality showed us another side of organizations. According to a recent MIT study, only 5% of companies worldwide that invested in generative artificial intelligence managed to scale AI pilots that generate consistent value, while the vast majority are still experimenting, stumbling, and trying to straighten a course that often relied excessively on a single tool. The lesson is clear: it's not ChatGPT, or Grok, or Gemini, but humans, who have not been able to define where we need to use this technology, and we don't always manage to land the most efficient method to do so.

Something similar happened in soccer. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from 2017 to 2021, with Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé, gave the impression that the team would conquer Europe, and it seemed that success was assured. However, the powerful Trident did not work as expected, and the Champions League title never arrived. The conclusion is simple: whether in sports or business, titles are not won with big names or "magical" and more expensive tools, but with a system that integrates, coordinates, and enhances collective performance.

The same happens with AI. A soccer star or an extraordinary tool like ChatGPT Enterprise or Gemini AI, in isolation, may not guarantee the expected results. For a time, the focus was on the tool: what model to use, what computing capacity to have, what prompt to write. However, with agentic AI, we have taken an evolutionary leap that does not replace ChatGPT, but rather, enhances it. We are no longer just talking about one more instrument in the toolbox, but about a colleague capable of understanding objectives, coordinating intermediate steps, and completing complex tasks from end to end.

This implies the beginning of a silent and gradual transformation, but one that will undoubtedly be exponential. Traditional workflows, centered on rigid processes, are being enhanced by schemes where autonomous agents dialogue, coordinate, and deliver integrated results. It's not about adding more speed: it's about redefining how results are achieved.

As you read this, the transformation is underway in various industries. In companies worldwide, the integration of ChatGPT with AI agents is yielding tangible results. An example is Cordis, a global leader in medical devices. Through ChatGPT Enterprise and custom-designed AI agents, it partnered with Globant to reinvent the way teams manage compliance, quality, IT, and engineering tasks, laying the foundation for a scalable generative AI strategy with immediate impact.

The results? In less than six months, more than 200 associates were empowered, and over 60 business use cases were successfully activated. Ninety-five percent of users reported significant weekly time savings, with an average of 3.7 fewer hours of work, and 88% stated that ChatGPT Enterprise became indispensable in their daily lives, resulting in a substantial increase in productivity.

In sports as in business, nothing happens by magic. The combination of human supervision, an expert technological partner, efficient integration, and well-orchestrated AI agents is what will enable us to achieve the scalability that often seems unattainable.
