Mexico Will Build Latin America’s Largest Public Supercomputer

The Government of Mexico has entered a cooperation agreement with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, one of the leading public supercomputing institutions in the European Union, to initiate the construction of a National Supercomputer. The project will create the largest public high-performance computing system in Latin America and begin operations through interim capacity hosted in Spain.
