In the rapidly evolving world of telematics and fleet management, Numaris has emerged as a benchmark in Mexico. As co-founder and CEO, I am excited to share our story and vision for the future. Since our inception, we have adopted a strategic acquisition strategy, completing six acquisitions to date, with plans to continue investing in the industry. Founding Numaris
The story of Numaris begins with a clear vision and a shared passion. From the outset, my co-founder, Juan Pablo Baeza, and I recognized an opportunity in the telematics and fleet management industry that was ripe for transformation through technology and innovation. With determination and hard work, we founded Numaris with the goal of bringing together the best companies in the industry under one holding.
The first major milestone for Numaris was our transaction with Tecnocontrol. It was here that we met the Navarro brothers, Miguel Ángel and Antonio. They welcomed us into their business, sharing their extensive knowledge and experience. This collaboration not only provided us with a solid foundation in the market but also marked the beginning of a lasting strategic partnership. Today, Miguel Ángel serves as our chief customer officer (CCO) and Antonio as our chief financial officer (CFO).
National Expansion
Following the success with Tecnocontrol, we expanded our presence in Mexico City by acquiring Smart Tracker, a company whose owner had vast industry experience. This acquisition strengthened our foothold in the capital and allowed us to learn from an industry veteran.
Our next acquisition was Easytrack in Guadalajara, where we partnered with the Barba brothers, David and Alberto. Similar to the Navarro brothers, the Barbas brought invaluable expertise and technical knowledge that have been crucial to our growth. David now serves as our chief technology officer (CTO) and Alberto as our chief development officer (CDO). Marcos Vargas, founder of SFleet, was the last to join our team following our acquisition of SFleet in CDMX. Every founder we have worked with has imparted valuable lessons, playing a fundamental role in Numaris’ success.
Strategic Investment
To further our vision of becoming a one-stop shop, our latest investment was in Traffilog Latin America. This company specializes in OEM clients and large accounts, thereby expanding our capabilities and market reach. Importantly, the team at Traffilog remains onboard to drive our shared vision forward. This strategic move not only complements our existing services but also enhances our ability to cater to large-scale operations, reinforcing our comprehensive one-stop shop vision.
Organic Growth
In addition to acquisitions, we have fostered continuous organic growth driven by innovation and operational excellence. At Numaris, innovation is at the core of everything we do.
