Summary: Chinese automaker JETOUR SOUEAST has opened a corporate headquarters in Mexico City to centralize commercial, after-sales and distributor operations as it expands its presence in Mexico’s competitive automotive market. The move, combined with the launch of the plug-in hybrid JETOUR G700 and a logistics partnership with Estafeta Supply Chain, reflects broader investment by Chinese automakers in electrified vehicles and supply chain infrastructure. The expansion affects Mexico’s automotive, dealer network and mobility sectors as foreign manufacturers increase competition and investment in the country’s growing electrified vehicle market.

JETOUR SOUEAST opened its new corporate headquarters in Mexico City, marking a strategic milestone as the Chinese automaker strengthens its presence in the Mexican market and outlines a five-year growth plan. The facility will serve as the central hub for the company’s commercial, after-sales and distributor relations operations across Mexico. Executives say the move reflects the brand’s commitment to expanding its footprint in one of Latin America’s most competitive automotive markets.

Company leaders and employees attended the opening ceremony, which the firm described as a key step in consolidating its operations less than a year after launching its direct presence in the country. As the brand continues to expand in Mexico, executives say establishing a permanent corporate base was a necessary step to support long-term operations.

The new headquarters signals the company’s confidence in its growth trajectory and the strategic importance of the Mexican market within its global expansion plans. “Mexico is a very competitive market for us, and the opening of this new corporate headquarters in Santa Fe is part of our strategy to optimize resources while increasing vehicle sales,” said Johnny Fang, CEO, JETOUR SOUEAST.

Fang said the company expects significant growth in the coming years, noting that continued expansion could require larger offices within five years. “Since we began operations in this country, we have progressively improved, and I can project that within five years we will need to look for new, larger offices that match our growth,” he said.

Strategic Hub For Operations And Partnerships

With the new facility now operational, the company plans to centralize key business functions while strengthening its relationships with dealers and partners. From its Mexico City headquarters, JETOUR SOUEAST will oversee commercial strategy, communications, after-sales services and long-term business planning. The location is also intended to serve as a meeting point for distributors and partners as the brand expands its national network.

Executives say the decision to locate in one of the capital’s most prominent corporate districts underscores the automaker’s intention to build a lasting presence in the Mexican automotive industry. The new headquarters represents more than administrative offices, Fang added, describing it as a launch point for new growth initiatives and strategic projects aimed at expanding the company’s market share.

Plug-In Hybrid Suv Expands Product Lineup

The company’s operational expansion coincides with new product introductions designed to strengthen its position in Mexico’s growing electrified vehicle segment. During its annual dealer meeting, JETOUR SOUEAST announced the arrival of the JETOUR G700, a luxury plug-in hybrid SUV built on the company’s new GAIA modular architecture, reported MBN

Fang said the brand’s strategy focuses on making premium plug-in hybrid electric vehicles more accessible while combining hybrid technology with off-road capabilities. The SUV measures nearly 5.2 meters in length and features a three-row configuration, air suspension and electronic damping control designed to adapt to various driving conditions. Its adjustable suspension system can raise the vehicle to achieve a ground clearance of up to 320 millimeters and a water-wading capacity of 970 millimeters.

According to Saúl Espinosa, Vice President, JETOUR SOUEAST, the model integrates four-wheel steering, adjustable suspension and enhanced visibility systems designed to improve maneuverability and driving comfort.

Logistics Alliance Strengthens After-Sales Service

Alongside product expansion, the company is also investing in after-sales infrastructure to support its growing customer base. JETOUR SOUEAST recently formed a strategic partnership with Estafeta Supply Chain to improve nationwide distribution of automotive parts and components, reported MBN

The alliance aims to streamline inventory management and reduce delivery times, according to Osvaldo Ramírez, Head of Supply Chain, JETOUR SOUEAST. “In the automotive industry, efficiency in inventory management and speed in parts distribution are crucial for offering a comprehensive, high-quality service,” Ramírez said. “This collaboration allows us to build a more efficient storage and distribution system and respond quickly to market and customer demands.”

Through the partnership, the company expects to deliver parts to key distribution hubs in cities including Monterrey, Guadalajara, Queretaro and the State of Mexico within an average of two days, with next-day delivery available for many other regions.

JETOUR SOUEAST currently operates a 4,000m2 warehouse dedicated to spare parts storage, housing about 130,000 components with additional shipments expected in the coming months.

“Our goal is to provide security and confidence to our dealer network and customers by ensuring the immediate availability of essential parts,” says Ramírez.

JETOUR SOUEAST’s inventory planning prioritizes parts most frequently required after accidents, bumpers, headlights, windshields, and doors, which represent nearly 50% of damage cases. Maintenance parts like filters, spark plugs, and other essential components for repairs are also stocked, enabling quick fulfillment of distributor requests.
