In an effort to foster stronger industrial and technological ties between China and Mexico, aiming at creating opportunities for collaboration in key sectors such as automotive, advanced manufacturing and precision engineering, Chinese high-tech manufacturer Ruima Precision has finalized the purchase of an industrial site in Guanajuato, securing its first production base in North America.

The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary Cheersson Queretaro Precision Metal Forming S. de R.L. de C.V. (Ruima México), acquired a 52,297m2 lot at the Apaseo el Grande Industrial Park for US$3.4 million, including US$320,900 in taxes, according to the China Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (MEXCHAM).

The acquisition process began with a letter of intent signed on Jan. 17, followed by a formal purchase agreement on May 20. With the property title transferred and registered, and full payment completed, Ruima has secured a permanent foothold in Mexico.

The Guanajuato site will serve as Ruima Precision’s base of production and operations in North America, strengthening ties with the automotive industry and advancing the company’s global expansion strategy.

Ruima Electric Manufacturing (Fujian) Co., Ltd., based in Putian, Fujian Province, specializes in industrial sensing and instrumentation technology. Its portfolio includes strain gauge sensors, digital and vibrating wire sensors, Ergo counting devices, and industrial engineering solutions. The company has earned recognition as a national high-tech enterprise in China, with ISO 9001:2008 certification and more than 30 patents.
