Heineken Mexico announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at fostering female leadership in environmental conservation. The initiative, titled Water and Climate Cultivators for a Better World, aligns with Heineken Mexico's sustainability strategy, focusing on promoting female talent and leadership to generate positive impacts on communities and the environment.

Elena Montes de Oca, Sustainability and Circular Economy Director, Heineken Mexico, emphasized the initiative's alignment with the company's sustainability goals and its shared commitment with Fundación Azteca and the German Technical Cooperation Agency (GIZ) toward sustainability and the development of female leadership. "The call is open to all women interested in participating. No project contributing significantly to water conservation, biodiversity, and climate change mitigation will be disregarded," stated Montes de Oca.

The initiative will provide winners with technical assistance and mentorship from business and environmental experts, along with the opportunity to access equipment and funding to boost their projects. Progress will be monitored over a two-year period to ensure their development and success.

Through this initiative, Heineken Mexico and its allies aim to promote female leadership in environmental protection and foster innovative solutions to address current environmental challenges.
