Syngenta reaffirmed its commitment to transforming Mexico's agri-food systems sustainably. Collaborating with the Corn and Wheat Improvement Research Center (CIMMYT), Syngenta has positively impacted over 1,237,998 ha through sustainable agricultural practices, enhancing soil health and boosting productivity of key crops such as maize and wheat.

"We are proud to have a positive impact on over 1.2 million ha in Mexico with sustainable agriculture practices. This underscores our commitment to soil and nature regeneration, a core sustainability priority, and enhances productivity of our most critical crops," said Patricia Toledo, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Affairs, Syngenta Latin America.

Since 2020, Syngenta has implemented the innovative LivinGro project, integrating advanced crop protection technologies and ecological practices across diverse agricultural systems. This approach has significantly increased beneficial microorganism populations like fungi and bacteria, improving soil structure and water availability for crops.

As part of its Sustainable Horizon initiative, Syngenta calls on all stakeholders to proactively address environmental, social, and economic challenges in the agri-food sector, focusing on four key priorities: higher yields with lower impact, soil and nature regeneration, rural prosperity enhancement, and sustainable operations.
