Thermo Fisher to Simplify Ion Analysis for Labs

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. has launched the Thermo Scientific Dionex Inuvion Ion Chromatography (IC) system, designed to simplify and streamline ion analysis for laboratories of all sizes. The system minimizes safety concerns through the detection of ionic contaminants in water and the identification of corrosive compounds in oil and gas.

“As the originator of ion chromatography, we continue to lead innovation in all areas of instrumentation and column chemistry to meet our customers’ growing needs for better resolution, faster results, and intuitive lab experience,” said Lidija Raicevic, Vice President and General Manager of Ion Chromatography and Sample Preparation, Thermo Fisher Scientific.

The new instrument offers versatility and sensitivity, supporting a wide range of ion chromatography analyses in environmental, industrial, municipal water, and food and beverage labs. With its easily configurable workflows and compact design, the Dionex Inuvion system allows labs to operate more efficiently while meeting current analytical requirements. Its flexible platform enables labs to adapt to changing sample types and workflow needs in the future.

The Dionex Inuvion system builds on years of expertise, providing enhanced capabilities to labs of all sizes and streamlining the IC portfolio for easier technology selection. Key features of the Dionex Inuvion IC system include advanced pump technology for improved speed, quality, and reproducibility, user-friendly engineering to enhance the operator experience, and user-installable accessories to extend its capabilities and achieve high-quality results.

Thermo Fisher in Mexico

Mexico serves as a crucial hub for Thermo Fisher's operations in Latin America, boasting its largest plastic manufacturing facility situated in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. With multiple factories spread across the country and a workforce of over 2,700 employees, Thermo Fisher maintains a significant presence in Mexico.
