AT&T Mexico Shifts Amdocs CES to Oracle Cloud
AT&T Mexico is migrating its Amdocs Customer Experience Suite (CES) systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and ultimately, customer satisfaction.
“AT&T Mexico’s digital transformation is moving fast in the right direction with digital technology to support the business and all our customers. Our continued transition to the cloud with pioneer programs to reduce our IT footprint is an important area of growth as our network evolves,” says Jeronimo Diez de Sollano, CIO, AT&T Mexico.
Amdocs, known for its software and services tailored to communications and media companies, facilitated this transformation. By leveraging OCI, AT&T Mexico anticipates several key advantages, including greater flexibility in scaling IT resources, cost efficiencies through reduced operational expenses, and the deployment of state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure. Such enhancements are crucial as AT&T Mexico continues to innovate and expand its service offerings, maintaining a competitive edge amid evolving market demands.
“AT&T Mexico is committed to providing innovative services and customer-focused offerings to lead the local market. By migrating its IT services infrastructure to OCI, AT&T Mexico can ensure it has the right infrastructure to support its growing business needs. We are pleased to collaborate on this initiative,” says Shimie Hortig, President of the Americas Group, Amdocs.
In collaboration with Amdocs, AT&T Mexico is set to pave the way for pioneering programs designed to minimize their IT footprint while maximizing operational agility, harnessing cloud technology to drive innovation and enhance the overall customer experience.
“Our work with Amdocs to move CES to OCI is a critical example of how service providers like AT&T Mexico can become more agile and reduce capital expenditures and operating costs while adopting a flexible foundation for innovation. We are excited to continue our collaboration with both AT&T Mexico and Amdocs,” says Doug Smith, Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Partnerships, Oracle
