Several major governmental projects show significant progress, including the Mayan Train, Tulum Airport and Chalco-Santa Martha Trolleybus. The projects are approaching completion and are scheduled for inauguration between December 2023 and February 2024.

Miguel Ángel Riquelme, Governor of Coahuila, presided over both events, emphasizing the state's commitment to enhancing competitiveness.
ADO Invests US$8.5 Million in Quintana Roo's Mobility
Quintana Roo and ADO joined forces to enhance connectivity within the state. María Elena Lezama, Governor of Quintana Roo, announced the addition of 23 new eco-friendly vehicles to the state's fleet, providing improved transportation from Cancun International Airport to various destinations within Quintana Roo. The fleet is expected to benefit both residents and tourists, contributing to the state’s thriving tourism industry.
Advancing Sustainable Practices in the Construction Sector
Experts highlight the importance of sustainable architecture in reducing the environmental impact of the construction sector, underscoring the need to integrate circular economy practices into the sector to conserve water and energy. The UN Environment Program reports that construction activities accounted for a significant portion of global energy demand and greenhouse gas emissions in 2021.

Mexico City has made significant progress in transitioning to a circular economy, ranking among the world's top 30 cities in this regard, according to the Circular Cities Barometer. Since enacting its circular economy law in March 2022, the city has focused on green public transportation initiatives, biking infrastructure and sustainable building certifications.
