Echo Global Logistics Opens Cross-Border Office in Monterrey
Echo Global Logistics, a leading technology-enabled provider of transportation and supply chain management services, announced the grand opening of its new cross-border office in Monterrey. The expansion strengthens the company’s footprint in the country and enhances its ability to support shippers and carriers navigating Mexico-US trade flows.
“We are looking forward to continuing to expand our cross-border solutions with our newest office in Monterrey. Through our advanced technology suite, offering greater visibility and control, Echo is equipped to leverage essential services for our cross-border clients and carriers,” says Doug Waggoner, CEO, Echo Global Logistics.
Echo has managed cross-border transportation solutions for nearly a decade and began expanding its on-the-ground presence in Mexico last year to meet growing demand for specialized services. In March, the company launched its Mexico division headquarters in Mexico City, complementing existing facilities in Guadalajara and in Laredo, Texas.
“Continuing to establish operations within Mexico adds additional support that our cross-border clients and carriers need in today's transportation market. By applying our customizable solutions to fit these needs, Echo's cross-border capabilities make customs brokerage, transloading, warehousing, and more, that much easier,” says Dave Menzel, President and Chief Operating Officer, Echo.
Echo’s Mexico portfolio covers a wide range of essential modes, including dry van, temperature-controlled, flatbed, less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and managed transportation. With integrated cross-border technology and a team of bilingual experts, the company ensures seamless navigation of trade and customs regulations.
“By expanding our presence in Mexico, our cross-border team is better equipped to keep the supply chain moving. As one of the few companies to earn a 3PL certification in the CTPAT program for cross-border transportation, Echo is well-equipped to keep freight safe and secure. Additionally, with integrated technology at your fingertips and cross-border experts by your side, shipping into, out of, and across Mexico is much simpler,” says Troy Ryley, President, Echo Mexico.
Through its expanded presence, Echo aims to deliver greater reliability, security, and efficiency to companies leveraging nearshoring and cross-border trade opportunities between Mexico and the United States.
