The Free Economic Zone (FEZ) Minsk and the Toluca Industrial Park in Mexico have signed a cooperation agreement to enhance trade and investment collaboration. The agreement, formalized during the visit of a Belarusian business delegation to Mexico, outlines plans for joint participation in business projects, trade missions, and investment events. The delegation’s visit was organized by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Siarhei Bubenka, First Deputy Head of the Administration, FEZ Minsk, led discussions with representatives of various Mexican companies, presenting the investment opportunities within the FEZ and identifying key areas for bilateral cooperation. These discussions highlighted the potential for mutually beneficial projects, particularly in manufacturing, logistics, and technological innovation.

FEZ Minsk also participated in the National Congress of Delegations, Sectors, and Industrial Branches, held by the National Chamber of the Processing Industry of Mexico of the State of Mexico (CANACINTRA State of Mexico), further reinforcing the intent to build robust commercial relationships.

As part of the agenda, the Belarusian delegation toured the Toluca Industrial Park and a key logistics hub to explore operational practices and potential joint ventures. These engagements aim to pave the way for increased Mexican investment in Belarus and to position Belarus as a gateway for Mexican businesses into Eastern Europe.
