Logistic One, a leading provider of logistics and transportation solutions, has invested US$15 million into a new cross-border facility in Laredo, Texas. This facility is a strategic move to bolster the company’s capacity for seamless trade and transportation between the United States and Mexico.

“The Laredo facility is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to redefine cross-border logistics. By combining world-class infrastructure with advanced technology, Logistic One is setting a new standard for operational excellence. Our new facility in Laredo underscores Logistic One's dedication to innovation and excellence in logistics. This investment allows us to support our clients with unparalleled cross-border capabilities and positions us for continued growth in the global logistics market,” says the company.

The new Laredo facility is located at 127 Blue Ridge Parkway, a prime location in one of North America’s most active trade corridors. Designed to meet the growing demand for efficient cross-border operations, it offers a comprehensive suite of services, including state-of-the-art warehousing, distribution, and customs processing.

With international trade continuing to grow, Logistic One’s new facility is expected to serve as a key player in optimizing logistics processes. The facility integrates advanced technologies to ensure smooth operations, accommodating the ever-increasing flow of goods across the Mexico-US border. Automation of critical functions will allow the facility to expedite service delivery and reduce operational costs, all while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.

Logistic One is incorporating AI into this facility. AI-powered tools will enhance route optimization, predictive analytics, and inventory management, driving efficiency and improving the decision-making process for both the company and its clients, says the company.

The company is also preparing to launch an AI-driven project in early 2025. This new proprietary platform will provide real-time data insights to shippers, drivers, and warehouse managers, enabling proactive decision making and enhancing the speed and precision of operations.

The facility will create numerous job opportunities for locals, spanning roles in warehouse operations and technology-driven logistics management.
