San Luis Potosi's aerospace sector has experienced significant growth, fueled by over US$130 million in foreign direct investment since 2021, according to the state's Ministry of Economic Development (SEDECO). This represents a 127.7% increase in investment.

"San Luis Potosi is poised to become a key aerospace hub, and we will continue working to ensure this sector is a driver of economic growth and specialized employment," said Jesús Salvador González Martínez, Minister, SEDECO.

The region is now home to five aerospace companies, collectively generating over 4,100 jobs. These companies produce essential components for the aerospace industry, such as electrical systems, thermal insulation panels, and high-precision parts.

Among the companies contributing to this growth are Tighitco Latinoamericana, Eaton Truck Components, and Aearo Technologies de México (all based in the United States); Impro Industries México (from China); and Diser Industrial, a Mexican company.

“San Luis Potosi's aerospace industry is set to become a reference point in the field. We are committed to advancing this sector as a vital contributor to both the local economy and the creation of specialized jobs,” González Martínez added.
