AIFA Marks 3 Years Falling Short of 20 Million Passengers Goal
The Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) is set to mark its third anniversary on March 21, but it is falling short of the expectations initially set by officials, according to industry experts. Original projections predicted AIFA would handle 20 million passengers annually within its first three years. But the airport has only served 10.47 million passengers to date, an average of 3.5 million per year.
SpaceX Starship Explodes Again, FAA Launches Investigation
SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft exploded midflight for the second consecutive time in a row, disrupting air traffic in Florida and prompting an investigation by the FAA. The incident occurred during the eighth test flight of the vehicle, which launched from SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Texas at 6:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.
