PepsiCo has entered a strategic, multi-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its digital transformation efforts across its global operations. The partnership is designed to accelerate PepsiCo’s use of cloud infrastructure and services, focusing on faster AI innovation, supply chain transformation, and creating more personalized consumer experiences.

This collaboration is part of PepsiCo's ongoing commitment to a cloud-first approach, positioning the company to improve agility, intelligence, and scalability. The agreement will help PepsiCo leverage AWS’s infrastructure, tools, and expertise to support key initiatives such as cloud migration, AI integration, and supply chain optimization.

"A cloud-first approach has been essential to PepsiCo's ongoing digital transformation. This strategic collaboration will strengthen our mature cloud strategy and unlock new levels of agility, intelligence, and scalability across the company," said Athina Kanioura, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, PepsiCo.

The partnership spans PepsiCo’s global business operations, with AWS providing support through its cloud migration and IT modernization efforts. PepsiCo is migrating key applications and workloads to AWS, enabling the company to build, test, and implement new technologies more quickly.

In addition to cloud migration, the collaboration will focus on generative AI. AWS is enhancing PepsiCo’s internal generative AI platform, PepGenX, by integrating it with Amazon Bedrock, allowing PepsiCo’s developers and technical teams to build applications and deploy AI-driven solutions more effectively.

PepsiCo is also using AWS’s capabilities to improve its consumer connection strategies. The company is leveraging AWS for real-time insights into advertising performance, audience segmentation, and hyper-personalized content creation, allowing for more targeted marketing and deeper consumer engagement.

On the operational side, PepsiCo and AWS are exploring digital supply chain enhancements, including predictive maintenance for manufacturing and logistics operations. This will help PepsiCo improve operational efficiency and resiliency across its global network of manufacturing and distribution facilities.

"Consumer packaged goods companies need to continuously innovate to meet the evolving expectations of consumers. With AWS, PepsiCo is applying AI and using cloud services across their organization to deliver more personalized consumer experiences, optimize supply chains, and build new operational capabilities. We are proud to support PepsiCo as they innovate to serve billions of consumers worldwide," said Matt Garman, CEO, AWS.
