Pitz Raises US$2.1 Million to Digitize Auto Repair Shops
Pitz, a platform transforming the automotive repair industry in Latin America, announced it has closed a US$2.1 million pre-seed funding round led by high-impact investors including BFF, Marathon, Cracks Fund by Oso Trava, 500 Startups, Amplifica, Boost VC, AngelHub, and Latitud.
The round, completed in just two months, represents a milestone for both Pitz and the regional startup ecosystem. Led by entrepreneur Natalia Salcedo, Pitz plans to use the capital to strengthen operations in Mexico and Brazil, develop advanced AI solutions for independent auto repair shops, and expand into additional Latin American countries and the United States.
“Closing this round is not just about securing capital; it demonstrates that a solo, female, Latina founder can raise one of the largest pre-seed rounds in a historically male-dominated sector,” said Natalia Salcedo Franco, founder and CEO, Pitz.
“In an ecosystem where less than 2% of venture capital in LatAm goes to women-led startups, Pitz is building AI infrastructure to digitize more than 750,000 auto repair shops in Mexico and Brazil, making it possible for any car to be repaired in under 24 hours.”
Over the next year, Pitz aims to digitize more than 2,500 active repair shops. The platform will enable mechanics to create a personalized website in under 10 minutes, provide over 15 automated recommendations such as parts reordering and quote closures, and handle up to 5,000 voice interactions per week within three months.
Pitz is positioning itself as a digital infrastructure pioneer for an industry long overlooked by technology, focusing on independent mechanics, local entrepreneurs, and the millions of drivers who need fast, reliable service.
