Uber for Business Sees 30% Growth in Mexico in H1 2024

Uber for Business reported a 30% growth in Mexico during the first half of 2024. This performance surpasses initial projections, indicating strong adoption among businesses across various sectors.

Currently, over 11,000 companies in industries such as pharmaceuticals, banking, retail, technology, and consumer goods utilize Uber for Business to streamline their operations. The platform provides an efficient way for companies to maintain productivity by offering employees daily commute programs. These programs allow employees to request rides during early morning or late evening hours using the Uber app, enhancing safety and enabling extended service hours for businesses.

Uber for Business also helps companies reduce operational costs by minimizing their reliance on vehicle fleets. According to the company, the platform's programs have enabled businesses to decrease direct and indirect fleet maintenance costs by 30% to 60%. 

To lead the next phase of growth, Uber has appointed Arie Kaufmann as the new Director of Uber for Business in Mexico. Kaufmann, with over 15 years of leadership and business development experience in the payments and SaaS industries, has played a key role in the growth of companies like Konfio and Sí Pago.
