ZF North America has announced the appointment of Ramiro Gutierrez as its new President. Gutierrez, who will report to Dr. Peter Holdmann, a member of the Board of Management, brings with him 30 years of experience in the automotive industry.

Gutierrez's extensive career includes roles at Aptiv, ZF-TRW, and Dalphimetal. Most recently, he served as President of Engineered Structures at Howmet Aerospace in Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Vigo and Santiago de Compostela in Spain and completed the Executive LEAD program at the University of Michigan's Ross Business School in 2013.

“ZF has transformed remarkably from a leading transmission technology provider to one of the world’s largest technology companies. Our efforts are making mobility safer and cleaner for everyone. I am excited to rejoin this team and to continue enhancing our ability to support our customers in the future of mobility”, Gutierrez said.

ZF is a global technology company that provides advanced mobility systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial applications. Its wide-ranging products serve vehicle manufacturers, mobility providers, and startups in the transportation and mobility sectors. ZF's contributions to electrifying various vehicle types help reduce emissions, protect the climate, and enhance mobility safety. Besides the automotive sector, ZF caters to industries such as construction and agricultural machinery, wind energy, marine propulsion, rail drives, and test systems.

In March of this year, ZF group launched a high-tech mobility hub in Monterrey, featuring corporate, manufacturing, research and development facilities. This center focuses on advancing electric and autonomous mobility. Additionally, the company announced plans to expand operations in Queretaro with a US$13 million investment, creating over 100 new jobs.
