Cloud: A Great Equalizer that Drives Innovation

Rackspace Technology, a leader in end-to-end multicloud technology solutions, announced the launch of the “Beyond Clouds” campaign, which aims to advise users about the modernization of applications, data and enterprise security solutions to achieve better business results. The company specializes in multicloud and is looking for excellent implementation in Latin America while taking advantage of Mexico’s position as a talent hub.

“Cloud is now available to all, allowing innovation to take off. Consumers and future generations expect more and more with time, which helps drive said innovation even further,” said Srini Koushik, Chief Technology Officer, Rackspace Technology, during the introductory event. The Beyond Clouds campaign aims to change the way the cloud is being managed by companies, helping them to go beyond survival and thrive.

The technological sector and companies that depend on it need to take as much advantage as possible of what the different clouds offer. As organizations transform themselves into digital businesses, IT leaders become catalysts for change by modernizing solutions enabled by cloud tech, said Koushik. 

The multicloud is the next step for companies globally. With this solution, companies can choose between different types of cloud depending on the needs of each area, resulting in the best outcome for each of them. The adoption of this solution continues to grow exponentially in Mexico and Latin America. When implementing it, Rackspace recommends:

The slowest part of a company’s modernization process is often the people, said Koushik. For that reason, “selective modernization” is essential as it allows employees to understand and control the technology that will help run the company. While there is much to be done, moving too fast could end in fewer benefits. “Thinking “beyond cloud” is about how next-generation digital businesses require more than just a transition to the cloud.
