Israel-based AI infrastructure management company Run:ai announced it officially joined NVIDIA, marking the conclusion of its independent operations. The acquisition will enable Run:ai to expand its team, product offerings, and market reach in AI and graphic processing Unit (GPU)-based infrastructure.

As part of the NVIDIA ecosystem, Run:ai aims to continue enhancing the efficiency and utilization of AI infrastructure, helping organizations optimize their AI workloads. The company said it will continue to provide flexible solutions across different deployment environments, including on-premises, cloud, and NVIDIA DGX Cloud, co-engineered with leading cloud service providers.

In line with its open-platform philosophy, Run:ai plans to open source its software, extending its availability to the broader AI ecosystem. While currently supporting only NVIDIA GPUs, the move to open source will make the platform more accessible to users across various AI ecosystems.

Run:ai was founded in 2018 with the goal of helping organizations maximize the potential of their AI infrastructure. Over the years, the company has developed technologies to enhance the orchestration, efficiency, and utilization of AI systems, contributing to the overall advancement of AI technology. “We are thrilled to build on this momentum, now as part of NVIDIA. AI and accelerated computing are transforming the world at an unprecedented pace, and we believe this is just the beginning. GPUs and AI infrastructure will remain at the forefront of driving these transformative innovations and joining NVIDIA provides us an extraordinary opportunity to carry forward a joint mission of helping humanity solve the world’s greatest challenges,” reads Run:ai’s press release.
