Oracle NetSuite has announced a series of technology updates, including advanced AI capabilities and product localization enhancements, designed to increase operational efficiency and productivity for organizations in Mexico.

"With new AI capabilities, industry-specific functionality and localizations, we are extending our integrated suite and helping our customers automate more processes, gain intelligent insights, and improve productivity," writes Gustavo Moussalli, Vice President of Latin America, Oracle NetSuite, via a press release. Moussalli also underscored NetSuite's focus on adapting to the changing needs of the Mexican market, offering tools that enable companies to optimize their operations and make data-driven decisions.

The enterprise market in Mexico faces significant challenges, such as data fragmentation, the need to comply with complex tax regulations, and the demand for greater efficiency in resource management. NetSuite, a cloud-based business management suite, seeks to respond to these challenges with updates that integrate predictive, generative, and agentive AI, along with specific functionalities for sectors such as retail and field services.

These innovations, presented during the SuiteConnect Mexico City event on March 20, 2025, specifically seek to reduce information silos, improve data visibility, and automate critical processes.

NetSuite Updates

The upgrades presented by NetSuite include a number of innovations designed to improve the operational efficiency and productivity of organizations in Mexico. These include advanced AI capabilities, which integrate tools such as NetSuite Text Enhance, Prompt Studio, and SuiteScript API. These functionalities enable users to increase productivity, reduce human errors, and optimize financial and operational management.

Another new feature is Field Service Management, a functionality that combines scheduling, dispatching, inventory management, and preventive maintenance in a single mobile application. This solution facilitates communication between the field and the office, optimizes asset management, and increases real-time data visibility, which is especially useful for companies that rely on field operations.

For the retail sector, NetSuite has launched SuiteSuccess Retail Edition, a module that connects information between orders and sales, automating financial processes such as invoice creation and data capture. This tool complies with local invoicing and tax requirements, making it easier to adapt to Mexican regulations and helping retailers optimize their operational efficiency.

NetSuite now supports the cancellation of Digital Tax Receipts (CFDI), allowing companies to comply with Mexican tax regulations more efficiently. On the other hand, the Oracle Redwood Design System modernizes the user experience in the suite, improving the usability of control panels, lists, and forms.

Finally, NetSuite has introduced a new licensing model that allows companies to access key functionality, such as warehouse and customer relationship management, without the need for a full subscription. This approach helps organizations control costs while improving efficiency in specific areas of their operations.

In addition, NetSuite is migrating to Oracle Autonomous Database, which ensures greater security, reliability, and performance for customers in Mexico. This migration, says DPL News, will allow organizations to take advantage of a fully managed database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with integrated AI.
