Gtd Opens its First Security Operations Center in Mexico

Gtd announced the opening of its first Security Operations Center in Mexico. This new service, already successfully established in markets such as Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Chile, aims to employ advanced technologies such as data analytics and machine learning to quickly detect and respond to cyber threats.

"The Mexico Operations Center is an important milestone for our regional strategy," said Fernando Gana, general manager of Gtd. "Our goal is to provide customers in Mexico with access to critical metrics and indicators and the ability to interact with specialized teams available 24/7."

Operating from a high standard Tier III Data Center with PSI, ISO 27001, and 9001 certifications, the Operations Center will ensure continuous monitoring and protection of computer systems and confidential data.

With this inauguration, Gtd, specializing in technology and telecommunications, aims to strengthens its Cybersecurity Center of Excellence “Secure Soft”, which now has five centers in Latin America. This center not only offers advanced protection against cyber threats, but also enhances the ability of organizations to maintain the security of their digital assets and operational continuity.

"The opening of our in Mexico demonstrates our commitment to cybersecurity in the region," said Miguel Hurtado, Secure Soft's Mexico Country Manager, to TyN Magazine. "It is a significant step to strengthen cyber defense and support the digital transformation of organizations in Mexico and Latin America."

Key services to be offered by the Security Operations Center in Mexico will include:

  • Platform Health Status Monitoring and Notification: Event analysis to prioritize and notify incidents as soon as possible.

  • Security Event Monitoring and Notification and Correlation: Review of alerts and prioritization for effective response.

  • Cyber Intelligence: Intelligence activities to prevent, identify and mitigate emerging threats from Mexican cyberspace.

"Cybersecurity is closely linked to innovation and continuous adaptation," said Diana Ganchala, general manager, Secure Soft. "Our goal is to provide our customers in Mexico with solutions that not only protect, but also drive their digital growth."

Regarding Gtd's vision for the coming years, Manuel José Casanueva, vice president of the company, highlighted for Diario Financiero the potential of Mexico as a key market, not ruling out the possibility of expanding additional services in telecommunications, infrastructure, and information technology in the near future.
