Q: What role does T&ELS play in promoting sustainable and clean energy solutions in Mexico?

A: Having a reliable, safe, and efficient energy source is essential, since all processes depend on it. Mexico’s infrastructure and electrical network lack continuity and security. Alternative energy solutions, such as self-consumption and storage systems, can provide reliability and ensure the continuity of processes and communications. These systems offer independence from a vulnerable electrical grid, providing backup at critical times.

T&ELS enables clients to use autonomous generation to obtain the clean and sustainable energy that ensures their operational continuity. Our support extends for as long as the systems operate; we focus on continuous accompaniment as these systems are meant to last. We make a difference by allowing clients to generate their own energy, cleanly and sustainably. Energy storage is a crucial step toward energy security, as it offers a backup in situations where the grid may fail, which exclusively grid-tied systems do not provide.

Q: What are the main barriers to the deployment of solar cells that T&ELS has identified?

A: The lack of information about this technology is a real obstacle. The investment, although it can be considered moderate to high, becomes more convincing after observing the project’s forecasted return of investment. Our task is to highlight its economic benefits, making projects accessible. Projects must also be reliable, sustainable and safe, while complying with all regulations.

The photovoltaic sector is embracing transparency but poor practices have resulted in accidents, creating uncertainty for customers and making them hesitate to adopt these technologies. The key is to follow an engineering design based on regulations and certifications,  and using qualified labor. This ensures system reliability and continuity, addressing legitimate customer concerns.

T&ELS’s policy is to thoroughly analyze projects to evaluate their feasibility, paying special attention to the place that the project is planned for. Whether it is for the industry sector, residential area, or a small business, it is crucial to evaluate all risks and ensure that the place meets the necessary conditions. Many customers want to adopt sustainable technologies but the existing infrastructure is sometimes not enough. In such cases, we propose solutions, whether power backup or clean power generation, to mitigate energy-related issues. Careful evaluation is essential to address these challenges effectively.

Q:  What unique financial solutions or incentives does T&ELS offer through its partnership with CIBanco?

A: We allow clients to finance up to 90% of their investment so they can avoid depleting their capital. CIBanco conducts a thorough analysis of the project, assuring the client that it will be secure. Payments are also highly accessible. For example, clients can allocate what they would have paid for their electricity bill to pay for the project. Financing periods can be extended up to six years, after which clients will own a system with a lifespan of almost 30 years.

Q: What market trends and innovations in the industry are particularly relevant for T&ELS, especially in the Mexican market?

A: Storage and electromobility are trending. The sector is focusing on immediate uses and self-consumption, but storage will allow it to grow. Storage will also provide stability to the national electricity system, providing energy at critical times, or peak hours. Storage will allow networks to avoid saturation and reduce failures. It will benefit the country and the users who invest in these technologies, since public investment has been unable to improve the infrastructure of the national electrical grid.

Q: What is needed to increase the use and reliability of these systems?

A: The technology available in the market is diverse but we must prioritize quality, certifications, and proper management for projects related to energy storage. Acquiring a reliable battery involves more than just a quality product; it requires integrating appropriate protections and installing it in the right place. Information systems and training play crucial roles as well, especially considering the engineering complexities and care involved.

Q: What are T&ELS’s objectives in the market?

A: One of our core goals is captured in our slogan, Energy awareness. We aim to highlight the importance of renewable energy, considering its abundance in Mexico. Despite its resources, the country has paid little attention to renewables. We are creating awareness among residential and industrial users, emphasizing the use of safe and reliable technology. This will reduce carbon emissions and positively impact the environment. Our passion lies in leaving a mark on environmental consciousness and providing users with the opportunity to leverage the available energy resources.

Although T&ELS is a young company, we are backed up by Grupo Eléctrico Menses (GEM), which has four decades of experience developing products in Mexico. We are confident that we will continue to contribute quality to Mexico’s renewable energy sector.

T&ELS Solar México has over 35 years of experience in the sale and installation of renewable energy equipment, such as photovoltaic and solar-powered systems.
