Elixir MD, a developer of non-invasive medical devices and treatment protocols for aesthetic procedures, has entered the Mexican market through a partnership with plastic surgeons. The expansion brings Elixir MD's footprint to 17 countries as the company continues to grow its global presence.

“Elixir MD was created to serve the needs of plastic surgeons with proprietary devices that help patients return to life faster and attain better outcomes,” says Ewan Mohammed, CEO, Elixir MD.

The partnership in Mexico comes at a time of strong growth in the country's aesthetic medicine sector. Mexico ranks third globally in terms of plastic surgery volume, following the United States and Brazil. Growth in the sector is being driven by both domestic demand and medical tourism. According to industry estimates, the Mexican aesthetic medicine market reached US$2.6 billion in 2024 and is projected to more than double by 2030, reaching US$6.1 billion, with a compound annual growth rate of 15.6%.

Headquartered in California, Elixir MD specializes in technology designed to improve plastic surgery recovery outcomes and reduce downtime. Its suite of devices, including the FDA-cleared ELIXIR MD and EVA 3D, is built on the company’s “360 Aesthetic Recovery Model,” which offers pre-surgical and post-surgical support with the goal of enabling patient recovery within 48 hours by 2030.

Elixir MD has delivered more than 22,000 treatment hours for plastic surgery patients globally and sees Mexico as a key market in its international strategy. With rising demand in the country and a strong network of providers, the company is positioning itself to be a central player in the region’s evolving aesthetic medical landscape.
