Schivo Expands MedTech Capabilities with Mecaplast Acquisition
Schivo announced the acquisition of Mecaplast, a Swiss manufacturer specializing in high-precision plastics, metals, and ceramics injection molding for the medical device and life sciences sectors. The move expands Schivo’s expertise in advanced materials and strengthens its position as a global partner for complex MedTech and life sciences technologies.
The integration adds plastic, metal, and ceramic manufacturing, assembly, and value-added services to Schivo’s vertical platform. Schivo will also establish a European Center of Excellence, enhancing injection molding capacities in plastics and metals. These capabilities will support operations in the United States and Mexico, strengthening services for MedTech and life sciences OEMs across key international markets.
