Global information and communication leader ZTE secured the bid for izzi’s Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) project, allowing it to provide network-wide core network and value-added services to izzi’s millions of users.

This collaboration boasts a comprehensive suite of Network Elements (NEs), including virtualized core network and virtualized value-added services, all supported by ZTE-developed hardware and Ceph storage mode. Under the umbrella of Grupo Televisa, izzi is Mexico's largest pay-TV operator and the second-largest fixed network operator. It serves 6.3 million subscribers and offers Quad-Play services across various cities in Mexico.

The adoption of cloud-native architecture and virtualization solutions aligns with the evolving demands of mobile virtual operator networks. These technologies enhance network flexibility, reliability, and agility, empowering operators to develop and deploy new services while bolstering competitiveness.

ZTE's commitment to innovation in network technologies can be seen in its NFV/SDN-based end-to-end 5G telecom cloud solutions. ZTE facilitates operators' digital transformation journeys by integrating hardware, cloud platforms, and cloud applications, along with management and orchestration capabilities.

ZTE's open labs and collaborations with industry partners worldwide drive technological advances and contribute to industrial upgrades, benefiting operators and consumers alike.
