The National Council of Logistics and Supply Chain Executives (ConaLog), and Latina Chief, a leading executive recruitment firm with over 25 years of experience, have announced a strategic alliance aimed at increasing female representation in leadership roles within Mexico's logistics and supply chain sector.

"By combining our strengths, ConaLog and Latina Chief will set a precedent for collaboration, demonstrating that joint efforts by organizations committed to diversity are the cornerstone of impactful change in Mexico's corporate landscape. Diversity is not just an issue of equity but also a catalyst for innovation and organizational profitability," says Lizette Ibarra, CEO, Latina Chief.

In a press release, ConaLog says that women hold less than 10% of leadership positions in Mexico’s logistics sector, according to its study, "Logistics Performance Indicators in Mexico: Data that Moves."  The study was conducted by ConaLog in collaboration with GS1, Alvarez and Marsal, AMTI, BDS, and IPADE Business School. This figure highlights the urgent need for initiatives that promote greater gender inclusion and equity in this critical industry.

The partnership between ConaLog and Latina Chief aims to foster mutual growth and reinforce their joint commitment to diversity and inclusion in leadership positions. Additionally, the collaboration seeks to make professional opportunities more accessible to female members of ConaLog. Latina Chief will provide specialized recruitment services for ConaLog’s corporate partners, focusing on identifying and attracting female talent through ConaLog's extensive network.

“We are very excited about this alliance with Latina Chief. At ConaLog, we are committed to increasing female representation in leadership roles within logistics and supply chain. This collaboration will not only strengthen our capabilities but also provide our members with unparalleled opportunities. Together, we are paving the way towards a more inclusive and equitable future in our industry,” says Sandra Aragonez, President, ConaLog.

Through this alliance, ConaLog and Latina Chief are committed to transform the leadership landscape in Mexico's logistics sector, opening new opportunities for women and setting a standard for inclusion and diversity in the industry. This collaboration is expected to inspire other sectors, enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the logistics sector, and promote positive change throughout the Mexican business landscape.
