Freight Technologies Unveils AI Module for Freight Invoicing

Freight Technologies (Fr8Tech), a logistics management innovation company, is rolling out a new AI-powered automation module integrated into its flagship Fr8app and Fleet Rocket Transport Management System (TMS) platforms. The feature, Carrier Auto Invoicing, leverages large language model (LLM) technology to automate data extraction, validation, and compliance within freight invoicing operations.

The Carrier Auto Invoicing module is designed to identify and standardize structured data from XML and PDF documents, accelerating invoice verification processes while ensuring full compliance with Mexico’s Digital Tax Receipts over the Internet (CFDI) electronic invoicing regulations.

Through this new automation, carriers and back-office teams can upload all necessary invoicing documentation, including official XML and PDF files, while the platform performs end-to-end validation automatically. It can also update shipment or segment statuses autonomously within system workflows, reducing manual input and minimizing human error.

The system further enhances transparency and auditability by generating traceable validation records, alongside real-time alerts through automated billing logs and error notifications, allowing for swift issue resolution.
