Our leadership has been committed to innovation for the past decade, leading us to become the first contractor in the world to use SBR systems for mechanized shaft excavation, a significant departure from traditional drill and blast methods. This innovation has not only improved safety by removing people from hazardous work phases, but it has also allowed us to sink 2,000m shafts in Canada without any injuries. This technology has not only taught us valuable lessons but has also enabled us to enhance project planning and deliver better results. It allows us to customize each shaft to different diameters, and we can remove rock from the bottom using pneumatic systems while providing ground support without anyone being at the bottom of the shaft. This innovation significantly increases safety in our projects.
