Heliostar Metals announced plans to start a large-scale drill program at its Ana Paula deposit in April 2025. The company will deploy two drill rigs to conduct the program, which aims to further develop the deposit's resource potential.

Charles Funk, CEO, Heliostar Metals, said the company intends to conduct 15,000m, its largest drill program to date, at Ana Paula. The program will focus on infill drilling to upgrade resource categories, testing the extent of satellite zones, and exploring targets north of the Parallel Panel.

Infill drilling will be conducted section by section, focusing on converting inferred ounces to higher confidence categories for underground mining. The company will also follow up on recent drill intercepts, including 16m at 16.7g/t gold to the west of the High Grade Panel and 24m at 5.1g/t gold over 150m beneath the High Grade Panel.

Heliostar Metals will explore targets north of the Parallel Panel, where previous drilling has identified high-grade gold intercepts that remain poorly defined. The company believes these intercepts may represent repetitions of the High Grade and Parallel Panels, offering opportunities for resource expansion.
