Luca Mining announced analytical results from its first underground diamond drill program at the Campo Morado mine in Guerrero since 2014, hitting grades up to 150g/t silver, along with significant gold and zinc values, in previously untested zones. The company considers these results encouraging, as they show mineralization yet to be captured in the Campo Morado plan.

According to Luca Mining, the drilling program represents the first significant exploration at Campo Morado since 2014. The company said initial results are encouraging, with drillhole CMUG-25-01 targeting an untested zone approximately 25m below active mine workings in Area 9 of the G9 Deposit. This hole intersected 5.6m grading 2.3g/t gold, 150g/t silver, 0.56% copper, 0.74% lead, and 3.71% zinc.

Further drilling in the same area with drillholes CMUG-25-06 and CMUG-25-07 intersected another mineralized zone. Drillhole CMUG-25-06 returned 6.3m with grades of 0.19g/t gold, 7g/t silver, 0.80% copper, 0.01% lead, and 5.10% zinc. Drillhole CMUG-25-07 intersected 11.9m grading 0.13g/t gold, 8g/t silver, 0.77% copper, 0.07% lead, and 4.78% zinc. These results indicate the presence of mineralization not currently included in the Campo Morado mine plan, and continued drilling will target similar near-mine areas.

To date, Luca Mining has completed 14 underground drillholes, totaling over 2,000m, as part of the 5,000m Phase 1 program, which aims to define mineable resources near existing mine workings and within interpreted extensions of known mineralization.

In addition to the underground program, Luca Mining commenced a surface drilling campaign focused on the broader Campo Morado District, including the Reforma and El Rey deposits, which have not seen exploration since 2010. The Phase 1 surface program is planned for 2,500m of diamond drilling to define and expand these deposits, located approximately 1km north and east of the main mine. Luca Mining identified 38 priority targets across its over 121km² land package within the Sierra Madre mineralized belt.
