Tocvan Ventures announced the results of trench channel samples from its Pilar gold-silver project in Sonora. The samples were collected from four trenches as part of the recently completed Bulk Sample, showcasing encouraging results.

During the bulk sample, four trenches were channel sampled along new rock face exposures at 2m intervals. Notably, two of the main zone trenches demonstrated consistent values, with gold averaging 1.9g/t Au over total channel lengths of 14m and 20m. These results align with the head grade calculated during Tocvan’s bulk sample.

Surface mapping and assay results indicate that all trenches remain open for continued mineralization along their respective trends. The data obtained from these results will be integrated with drill data for the upcoming initial resource estimate for the El Pilar project. The company is actively working to determine optimal drill locations to expedite this resource estimate, with Pilar currently permitted for 83 drill pads.

In the area adjacent to Pilar, assessment work is underway to prioritize target areas for additional resource potential. The company notes active placer mining activity, opening up new gold source areas Tocvan Ventures controls. Limited evaluation work has been conducted in these areas, presenting an opportunity for future resource expansion, the company noted.

Brodie Sutherland, CEO, Tocvan Ventures, expressed confidence in the results, as the company confirms significant bulk grades at the surface. He emphasized the company's focus on resource estimation and mine development permitting while exploring additional upside potential in the expanded Pilar project area.
