Critics Against the United States. President López Obrador criticized the United States for providing financial support for conflicts like those in Ukraine and Gaza but neglecting to contribute significantly to Central American countries. He questioned the disparity, noting that while the United States readily provides funds for conflicts in other regions, it offers little to no support for cooperation efforts in Latin American countries. He expressed hope for a change in this approach.

Televisa Criticized Regarding the Case of Rocío Nahle. López Obrador criticized Televisa for running a smear campaign against Rocío Nahle, a candidate for the governorship of Veracruz. He specifically mentioned Nahle's role as the former Minister of Energy in the construction of the Dos Bocas Refinery. López Obrador called on Emilio Azcárraga, President, Televisa, not to defame Nahle and urged the company to present any evidence of corruption against her to the appropriate authorities instead.

Meeting With the Government of Guatemala. López Obrador highlighted the upcoming meeting with the President of Guatemala, Bernardo Arévalo, scheduled for Friday, emphasizing its potential to enhance bilateral relations, particularly regarding migration issues. The meeting will address security matters, with Guatemala's security officials joining Mexico's Minister of Security, Minister of Governance, Minister of Defense, and Minister of the Navy. They will discuss extending the construction of the Interoceanic Corridor to Guatemala, growing Line K, which runs from Ixtepec in the state of Oaxaca to Ciudad Hidalgo, Chiapas, on the border of Mexican territory, and potentially further.

Governments will explore improving communications to El Ceibo, Tenosique, in Tabasco and connecting Flores, Guatemala, to Calakmul and Tikal in Campeche, facilitating travel between Guatemala and southeastern Mexico without disrupting the jungle. López Obrador expressed the desire to extend the Mayan Train route to Belize in the past but noted the lack of agreement at the time.
