CCE-Led Initiative Expands Formal Jobs Beyond Repatriates
The México te Abraza program has exceeded its target of 70,000 job vacancies offered across the country. The announcement was made by the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), which leads the initiative aimed at expanding access to formal employment.
The program, which began by targeting Mexican nationals repatriated from the United States, has since broadened its reach to include anyone seeking to enter the formal labor market. According to the CCE, over 380 companies have joined the effort to open employment opportunities nationwide.
Nuevo Leon leads in job availability with 10,092 positions, followed by Mexico City, Jalisco, and the State of Mexico. Other states with notable numbers include Baja California, Guanajuato, Queretaro, Coahuila, San Luis Potosi, and Puebla.
“This effort demonstrates that when companies, civil society, and government work together, they can build a more inclusive and equitable Mexico,” says Francisco Cervantes, President, CCE. He credits both the private sector’s commitment and the support of the Ministry of the Interior for helping structure a collaborative employment model.
“Opening job opportunities is one of the most powerful ways to change lives. We are honored to be part of this collective effort,” says Roberto Campa, Director of Corporate Affairs, FEMSA.
In addition to job creation, the initiative is backed by digital infrastructure designed to connect job seekers directly with employers. The Conexión Empresarial Paisano platform serves as a central point for applications, while the Ministries of the Interior and Labor continue promoting opportunities at repatriation centers.
Interested candidates can explore listings at mexicoteemplea.gob.mx or through the CCE’s portal at conexionempresarialpaisano.com. Applications can also be submitted via email or WhatsApp.
