Firstsource Launches Gigsourcing Platform for Enterprises

Firstsource Solutions has launched the Gigsourcing Platform, a digital solution to help enterprises scale and manage gig workers, as part of its AI-driven workforce transformation strategy. With operations in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Mexico, and beyond, the company delivers domain-led digital transformation services across global markets.

The company says that the platform, part of its relAI suite of AI-powered tools, connects global businesses with freelance professionals through an interface that supports project creation, onboarding, performance tracking, and payment automation. “This is not just about workforce flexibility, it is about creating an entirely new operating model,” says Ritesh Idnani, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Firstsource.

The launch answers to a growing demand from enterprises for more flexible, cost-efficient workforce models, according to Firstsource, especially as work decentralizes and organizations turn to digital solutions to address labor market complexity. Firstsource's offering aims to reduce friction in hiring, compliance, and operations by combining AI-based talent matching and workflow automation with cloud infrastructure.

With the Gigsourcing Platform, the company targets organizations seeking scalable workforce solutions while offering freelancers a streamlined onboarding experience, project engagement, and payments. Features include qualification assessments for freelancer selection, Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled integration, and a compliance-first approach to onboarding based on regional regulations. 

According to the press release, the platform also allows enterprises to create private talent networks and leverage internal personnel flexibly, since SaaS-based capabilities enable customized deployment, offering organizations their own gig talent environments. The company says the solution provides control over user access, project visibility, and notification management to maintain operational integrity.

The Gigsourcing Platform follows the recent debut of Agentic AI Studio, another AI-focused initiative by Firstsource. Together, the two tools form part of the company’s UnBPO strategy, which seeks to move beyond traditional outsourcing models through AI integration and process redesign.
