Samsung opened a training center in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, with the aim of certifying technicians in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The program will include certifications in refrigerant handling, automation, and control, as well as training for technicians, including migrants deported from the United States.

"Technicians have to always be at the forefront and part of the objective of this center is that they can be in contact with all the solutions that are on the market," says Javier Moreno, Director of HVAC business, Samsung.

The space conditioning sector, covering air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and cooling, is key within the construction industry. Samsung seeks to strengthen this segment in Mexico through specialized training to ensure the proper implementation of emerging technologies, such as the use of refrigerant R32, a gas with less environmental impact that requires specialized management.

The program seeks to facilitate the labor insertion of technicians with experience in other markets, especially those deported from the United States. The center will also offer the Eco Recycle program, which will allow users to replace their air conditioning system with free installation by recycling their previous unit.
