The 2025 edition of Expo Potosi Industrial, set for Oct. 9–10, aims to establish San Luis Potosi as a leading industrial hub in the Bajío region. The event, organized through the Ministry of Economic Development (SEDECO), will feature 600 companies from 20 countries, over 500 buyers, and about 3,500 participants, says Jesús González, Head, SEDECO.

Organizers anticipate over 1,000 business meetings designed to strengthen supply chains, attract new investments, and promote alliances among industry, government, and academia. A highlight will be the launch of Industrial Match (I Match), a digital platform developed by Genera Softlanding to connect suppliers and investors.

The agenda includes keynote conferences and panels on global trade topics such as protectionism and Mexico’s opportunities amid international challenges. Executives from BMW, Caterpillar, Chevron, Naturgy, and Grupo Acerero will join state economic development officials to discuss strategies and trends.

By hosting the expo, San Luis Potosi seeks to reinforce its role as a strategic node for advanced industry in central Mexico.
