Emirates is set to include nine Mexican destinations in its expanding network. This expansion makes Mexico the first destination outside the US to be incorporated into Emirates’ codeshare network, in partnership with United Airlines.

In addition to Mexico City, Emirates customers will gain access to eight new destinations across Mexico, including Cancun, Cozumel, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, San Jose Del Cabo, Leon and Queretaro.

The codeshare partnership extends its benefits to travelers departing from these nine Mexican points. Passengers from these locations can connect to various destinations within Emirates' global network via Chicago or Houston. Booking for tickets to the codeshare destinations in Mexico will commence on Sept. 14, 2023.

Emirates' expansion of its codeshare network to Mexico is expected to be especially popular among travelers from the Middle East, India and South Africa, the company said in a statement.

The inclusion of these new Mexican destinations extends the reach of the codeshare network to a total of 134 destinations. These can all be accessed through United Airlines' gateways within the US. Additionally, nearly 100 additional points across the US, Canada, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean, are also now available.
