Q: How would you describe Hyland's position within Mexico’s enterprise content management and process automation market?

A: According to the market share reports in Mexico +60% of the market is cover by no world class vendors and legacy platforms, Hyland does have about 10%; this market scenery represents a great opportunity for us being a leader in the ECM/CSP market but what truly sets us apart is our significant local presence helping important organizations in different industries in Mexico. Unlike other major providers that operate remotely, we have a dedicated team on the ground not only to support our resellers but to maintain close contact and satisfaction levels with/for our customers. Mexico’s market is is a competitive one and so companies are recognizing that the most strategic technology investment is in comprehensive and innovative platforms like ours, with  extensive demonstrated experience; elements necessary to support their strategies and stay competitive in this evolving and competitive market.

Q: What are the main differentiators that allow Hyland to compete and stand out against other ECM and automation solution providers in the region?

A: Our key differentiators are our +32 years of accumulated experience and a commitment to constant innovation, as survival in this market is impossible without it. We have evolved from a single-product Enterprise Content Management (ECM) company to a comprehensive suite which includes more than one Content Service Platform, complementary products like RPA, Block Chain and specific products for medical imaging in the healthcare market; all of this products powered today with AI to obtain insights from unstructured data and take process automation to the next level with Agentic AI.. We not only manage and custody unstructured information for our over 14,000 clients globally, but we also automate their critical business processes where this information serves as the primary input; making our clients more operationally efficient and competitive.

Q: What success stories highlight Hyland's positive impact on Mexican companies?

A: Mexico was one of the first markets where we launched our Latin American operations, with more than 100 active customers we do have a long history of impactful projects helping organizations in different verticals like Financial, Government, Manufacturing, Pharma, Education and Healthcare, . For an instance in the healthcare market one of the largest private Hospital in mexico uses one of our platforms for +23years to process and store their patients records/documents in and so to support different internal processes which  finally permit a better experience for their patients. This not only streamlines the patient’s experience but also serves as a powerful foundation for modern analytics. Imaging now the amount of information in that repository being explote by applying AI, we can now analyze decades of unstructured patient records in seconds, transforming that data into structured insights that enable the hospital to make faster and more intelligent decisions in favor of their patients.

Q: In which industries have your solutions found the greatest penetration within the local market?

A: Our platform is industry-agnostic in the sense that every organization needs to manage information to operate in a world where information will just keep  growing faster, in different forms/formats  while existingfragmented in diferent silos. So, just to mention another example; in higher education, , we optimize the entire student journey in univeristy; from the prospecting andadmission process with the student record to the graduation process with an electronic degree issuance. In insurance and finance sector, we not only hold the customer/product record but we also support the onboarding process, credit approval process, risk management department, contract management to help them operate in compliance.. Our technology integrates this unstructured content directly into core business processes, delivering timely the information needed by other systems as well as to decision-makers at every stage.

Q: What are the main obstacles companies face when trying to adopt your solutions and how do you overcome these barriers?

A: The most significant challenge we help clients overcome is to manage their information fragmentation to facilitate interoperation and facilitate automation/orchestration of their business processes. Most companies are operating with different systems resulting in separate information silos and therefore process inefficiencies. For example, an insurance company might still rely on a legacy system because it has been unable to migrate its data, while a healthcare provider may still use paper-based processes for patient registration. We can create the bridges to interoperate and automate processes by managing the unstructured business information (Content) Our primary role is to help them overcome these legacy constraints by leveraging modern technology to capture and integrate information at its point of origin, unlocking its full value for their business processes.

Q: How does the Hyland platform help companies in Mexico comply with local and international information management regulations?

A: Our platform is designed to help clients seamlessly navigate complex regulatory landscapes by managing their business content with adequate business rules and security which will permit them to operate in compliance. In Mexico, we are helping several government entities to be in compliance with specific mandates such as the General Archive Law (LGA) ; while in the insurance field we can help them to manage their customers information in compliance with Article 143. By implementing our solutions, clients can ensure their information management practices are largely or completely aligned with these critical compliance requirements.

Q: How does Hyland solve the challenges of interoperability and connectivity in complex enterprise environments?

A: As technology innovators, we address this directly with our Content Innovation Cloud strategy. Recognizing that +80% of an organization's information is unstructured and fragmented, our approach is to meet clients where they are. Instead of demanding a large-scale migration, a major concern for any CIO, we offer content federation. This allows our platform to access and manage information residing in legacy systems or disparate silos. Once we have this level of control then we use our automation and integration capabilities to improve interoperability and enrich their processes.

Q: What criteria should organizations consider when choosing which Hyland solution best suits their needs?

A: We work closely with our clients to analyze their level of digital maturity and specific needs to recommend the product that is the best fit. While all our platforms manage content they are designed for different needs. As a reference, OnBase, , is a low-code platform with +350 components, ideal for rapid solution deployment and has been widely adopted in the financial and commercial sector. Alfresco is built on an open-source framework appealing to organizations like public sector entities that prioritize or require open-source technology. Nuxeo is an ECM with more specialized features for Digital Asset Management (DAM), making it perfect for retailers, media companies, or any organization that handles a high volume of frequently changing audiovisual content. However any industry can use and obtain great value of any of our products.

Q: What cybersecurity measures has Hyland incorporated into its platform?

A: We offer a multi-layered security framework centered on the Hyland Cloud, our Cloud/SaaS (Software as a Service) offering where we provide not only the software but the infraestrcuture too. We have a strong global partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and we leverage its robust hardware and infrastructure security, which we complement with our own advanced software and application-layer security measures. This combination ensures we meet numerous market standards for cybersecurity and business continuity. For clients who choose an on-premises deployment, we operate on a shared responsibility model where they manage their infrastructure security.

Q: How is the adoption of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) changing the landscape of enterprise content management in Mexico?

A: The market is still looking forward to  understandhow to apply AI to achieve real business outcomes. The effectiveness of any AI depends entirely on the quality of the underlying data. This is our core differentiator. We are the custodians of petabytes of curated business information for thousands of clients, which serves as the clean, reliable knowledge base necessary for AI to produce accurate results rather than hallucinations. We are already delivering practical AI products that leverage this historical data to provide deep insights but also using agentic AI to take process automation to the next level or future for our clients.

Q: The cloud has become a technological standard yet security and trust barriers remain. How is cloud adoption in Mexico expected to evolve in the coming years?

A: Organizations looking to move into AI have little alternative but to move toward the cloud. This migration is no longer just a matter of choice; it is becoming an imperative driven by the rise of AI. Sophisticated AI models require immense and expensive computational power that is only available through the large-scale data centers and neural networks operated by major cloud providers. It is highly improbable that a single organization could build and maintain the necessary on-premise infrastructure. Therefore, to leverage the transformative power of AI, companies must connect to the cloud services where these technologies operate even if it begins with a hybrid model.

Q: What are Hyland's immediate objectives to strengthen its presence and market share in Mexico by the end of 2025 and early 2026?

A: Our strategy is focused on two key areas: expanding our alliances and extending our distribution network. We are actively seeking for innovative local Mexican technology/integrator companies for them to become Value Add Resellers. Also Hyland is always strengthening our integration with major international platforms like SAP, Salesforce, Epic, etc. We are focus on stablishing a strongpresence and bring our solutions to new industries and regions.
