Wisr AI Acquires RiskAssure to Strengthen Its Agentic AI Platform
Wisr AI completed the acquisition of RiskAssure risk management platform. The acquisition aims to integrate RiskAssure’s technology into Wisr AI’s agentic AI ecosystem to automate third-party risk management.
The integration combines RiskAssure’s native AI platform, which automates security questionnaire responses using vendor documentation, with Wisr AI’s agentic system, which monitors breach data and real-time threats. This synergy transforms static risk assessments into dynamic predictive workflows. As a result, it reduces risk assessment processing times from days to minutes.
This acquisition addresses the growing challenge organizations face in managing supply chain risks. According to Gartner, an average company interacts with 1,000 external suppliers annually, with each representing a potential attack vector.
This environment has expanded the global Third-Party Risk Management market, valued at US$7.42 billion in 2023 and projected to reach US$20.59 billion in 2030, growing at a CAGR of 15.7% from 2024 to 2030, reports Grand View Research. Additionally, the cybersecurity AI market size stood at US$16.5 billion in 2024 and is forecast to achieve US$45.5 billion by 2033, reports Verified Market Reports. This growth reflects the demand for advanced automated solutions.
The transaction was structured as an asset purchase for US$1.56 million, settled through the issuance of US$6.25 million shares at US$0.25 per share. The deal included no finder’s fees and stipulated a four-month holding period for the shares to promote long-term value creation.
The combined platform features an API-first architecture that facilitates integration with existing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and TPRM systems. This capability reduces implementation friction and allows the Wisr AI system to operate autonomously, triggering assessments and suggesting corrective actions when a supplier’s security posture weakens.
