Archy Welfare Opens in Puerto Escondido, Plans 2025 Expansion

Spanish eyewear brand Archy Welfare has opened its second store in Mexico, located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Building on the success of its first store in Mexico City, launched in May 2024, the company is advancing its international expansion strategy with more openings planned for 2025.

The new store, situated near Hotel Boutique Humano and Playa Zicatela—a popular tourist hotspot—embodies Archy Welfare’s minimalist and avant-garde design aesthetic.

Founded in 2019 by three Spanish entrepreneurs, Archy Welfare currently operates stores in 14 cities across Spain and has a growing international presence in Portugal, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and soon, the United States.

The brand has received a warm reception in Mexico, where its innovative approach to eyewear retail has struck a chord with local consumers. Archy Welfare plans to open additional locations across the country in 2025.
