Nike has postponed the launch of its collaboration with Skims, the shapewear brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian, due to production delays, according to a Bloomberg report citing sources familiar with the matter.

The collaboration, branded as “NikeSkims,” was originally slated for a spring 2025 debut. Nike CEO Elliott Hill had announced in March that the first collection would launch by the end of May. However, a new release date has yet to be confirmed.

A Bloomberg source indicated that the launch is still anticipated for later this year, though no specific timeline was provided.

Announced in February, the NikeSkims line aims to combine Nike’s innovation in sports science with Skims’ body-inclusive design ethos. The collection is set to feature training apparel, footwear, and accessories tailored to women athletes.

The initial plan included a domestic release in 2025, followed by a global rollout in 2026. It remains unclear if these timelines will be adjusted due to the delay. No product details or images have been released to date.

In February, Kardashian described the collaboration as a fusion of “innovation, inclusivity, and pushing boundaries,” emphasizing the meticulous design of products to “sculpt and perform for every body.” Launched in 2019, Skims has quickly gained prominence in the shapewear and apparel market.

As of now, neither Nike nor Skims has issued a statement regarding the updated timeline for the collection's release.
