Bergen Engines Inaugurates Service Center in Queretaro

Bergen Engines inaugurated its new service center in Queretaro, Mexico, marking a significant expansion of the company's support and services across Latin America. The two-day event featured a comprehensive tour of the state-of-the-art facility, technical sessions led by the Head of Engineering, and detailed presentations by the service team, highlighting Bergen Engines' extensive offerings for optimizing the efficiency of medium-speed engines and generating sets.
The new service center will serve as a central hub for Bergen Engines in Latin America, enhancing the company's ability to provide maintenance and technical support for both land and marine applications. This strategic location underscores Bergen Engines' commitment to delivering high-quality services to its customers in the region. Norway's Ambassador to Mexico, Ragnhild Imerslund, congratulated Bergen Engines on the inauguration and praised the decision to invest in the state of Querétaro. The Bergen Engines Norway team also visited the new center to show their support and commitment to Bergen's operations in Mexico.
The inauguration event also brought together new and existing customers, celebrating the beginning of a new chapter for Bergen Engines in Latin America. The dedicated team in Mexico hosted the event and highlighted it is looking forward to building strong partnerships and achieving continued success with its valued customers. I also want to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the Bergen Engines team in Mexico, who have made this milestone a reality," said Aldrich Richter, Managing Director, Bergen Engines LATAM.
With the opening of the Queretaro service center, Bergen Engines aims to reinforce its presence in the Latin American market and improve the efficiency and reliability of its clients' operations. The Queretaro government expressed excitement about the decision to invest in the state. Mauricio Reyes, Director, State Energy Agency of Queretaro, mentioned that the swift investment decision and project development reflect the quality of Bergen Engines as a company and its commitment to the state. Paloma Palacios, the state government's representative in Mexico City, also highlighted the significant opportunity this new center represents for the state's development and its alignment with nearshoring trends.
