CENACE Announces Regulated Tariffs for Electricity Operations
The National Energy Control Center (CENACE) has published the regulated tariffs for its operational services for the period Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025 period. The tariffs, established by the Governing Body of the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), are designed to support the efficient and reliable operation of Mexico's National Electricity System and the Wholesale Electricity Market.
These tariffs are essential for CENACE to secure the revenue necessary for the functioning of the electricity system, ensuring open and non-discriminatory access to the National Transmission Network and General Distribution Networks. Additionally, the tariffs enable CENACE to propose the expansion and modernization of the National Transmission Network and the elements of the General Distribution Networks related to the Wholesale Electricity Market.
