CONUEE, Jalisco Energy Agency Partner to Boost Efficiency
Earlier this month, during the Expo Congreso Electricón 2025 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the National Commission for the Efficient Use of Energy (CONUEE) and the Jalisco State Energy Agency (AEEJ) signed a letter of intent to promote energy efficiency across the state and strengthen the technical capacities of government personnel.
This collaboration builds on workshops held in August and September, which trained state and municipal staff on energy efficiency in public buildings, street lighting, and water pumping systems. The sessions encouraged the adoption of measures aimed at reducing energy consumption and optimizing the operation of public services.
With the signing of the agreement, CONUEE and AEEJ reaffirm their commitment to coordinated efforts that enhance energy efficiency and develop technical expertise within state and municipal agencies. CONUEE underscores a shared goal of fostering more sustainable energy management in Jalisco while supporting the broader implementation of efficient practices in public service operations.
