Rappi Appoints New CEO; Former CEO Moves On to Tesla
Ivan Cadavid, a seasoned executive with over 4 years of experience as Global Senior Vice President of Restaurants, Rappi, has assumed the leadership of the company in Mexico. Recognized as one of the company's most accomplished executives, Cadavid aims to spearhead a strategic transformation plan aimed at solidifying Rappi's technology platform as a market leader in Mexico.
The company expressed enthusiasm about the future trajectory of Rappi in Mexico under Cadavid's leadership. Combining his extensive experience with the company's robust strategic plan, the appointment is anticipated to propel Rappi to new heights of success and user satisfaction, while also benefiting partners, delivery personnel, and collaborators.
In a statement, the company conveyed its best wishes to Teresa Gutiérrez, former Country Manager of the company. Gutiérrez assumed the role of country manager of Rappi in Mexico in February of the previous year. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades in prominent global companies such as Mattel, Nestle, and P&G, Gutiérrez brings a wealth of experience to her new endeavors. According to El CEO, Gutierrez will oversee Tesla's operations in Mexico and will spearhead the brand's expansion throughout Latin America.
