The Finance Transformation Summit, hosted by The 1% of Financial Leaders, will hold its third edition on Thursday. The event will convene chief financial officers and senior executives from Mexico and Latin America to examine the evolving role of financial leadership in a time of technological disruption, geopolitical volatility, and shifting business models.
Organized under the theme “Time to Rise,” the summit builds on previous editions that addressed digital transformation, corporate culture, and leadership skills. The third edition will expand discussions to include AI, fiscal challenges, and the cultural and human dimensions of financial decision making.
During the 2024 edition, Victor Medrano, CEO, The 1% of Financial Leaders, said that the event aimed to challenge CFOs to become better leaders, shifting the focus from purely technological promotion to engaging with people and strengthening their role as business partners.
This year, the program will continue that discussion by exploring three dimensions of contemporary leadership: technical expertise, human influence, and purpose. The agenda includes open debates, one-on-one meetings, and two hours of structured networking designed to encourage collaboration among peers. Organizers describe the summit as a private gathering for CFOs where integrity and simplicity guide participation, with attendees encouraged to interact without formal labels or scripted personas. The event deliberately avoids corporate clichés, favoring honest dialogue and meaningful connection over rehearsed soundbites.
The lineup features over 20 international and regional speakers. Confirmed participants include Jorge Rosas, CEO, WeWow; Ulises Medel, CFO, Google; Mauricio Torres, CFO, Colgate; Erika Beltrán, Vice President, PepsiCo Americas; Yadira Preciado, CFO, Rolex; Frederico Carvalho, CFO, Nissan Mexico and Latin America Biz units; and Miguel Gonzalez CFO Middleamericas, ABinBev. Other speakers represent companies including RLH Properties, Bimbo, Seguros Monterrey, Kellanova, and Nartugy.
Over 150 CFOs are expected to attend, representing a cross-section of industries in Mexico and Latin America. The gathering will provide a space for leaders to address both technical and human challenges, from cybersecurity and governance to mental health and work-life balance.
By bringing together financial decision-makers from across Latin America, the Finance Transformation Summit seeks to foster collaboration and new approaches to leadership in a changing economic and business landscape.
