Q: What support does the Moscow Export Center provide to companies seeking to expand internationally?

A: Our primary mission is to support companies in entering the Mexican market. We operate from Moscow and coordinate closely with the government. Our objective is to create favorable conditions for technological companies and assist them in establishing a robust ecosystem.

Latin America is attracting growing interest from Russian companies. Mexico represents the second-largest economy in Latin America. Moreover, we actively engage with various associations and the Mexican government. The strong relations we have established can serve as a foundation for further economic development between our businesses and Mexico.

Q: What are the most promising areas for cooperation between Russian and Mexican companies within the health and IT sectors?

A: Russia, particularly Moscow, is a global leader in sectors such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and has extensive export capacity. Our medical products meet high international standards and hold EU certifications. We are highly competitive in these fields. Furthermore, the country has developed significant IT solutions for healthcare.

Russia ranks among the Top 10 countries in medical and healthcare developments worldwide. Moscow provides a supportive and efficient environment for rapid advancements in medicine. Many Russian companies have access to medical expertise across the vast territory of Russia. The knowledge and practices we have developed can be shared internationally. In Moscow, we are accustomed to providing high-quality customer service and information, and we are eager to share these standards so that clients in Mexico can benefit from these excellent healthcare services.

Q: How do you support Russian companies arriving in Mexico to ensure they successfully enter the market?

A: Moscow operates an export center that provides comprehensive support to companies. This includes assistance with foreign operations, training, promotion, sales, and even financial support to establish production locally. From the beginning, we have helped companies understand Mexico’s jurisdiction, cultural context, political environment, and technological considerations. We also facilitate logistics after initial contact, ensuring companies are well-prepared.

Through our business missions, we provide direct support for companies to establish partnerships and conduct business effectively in Mexico.

Q: Looking ahead, what are your expectations for the Mexican market?

A: We hope that Mexico becomes more familiar with Moscow as a city of advanced technology and comfort. There are numerous opportunities for projects that can strengthen collaboration between Mexico and Russia. We believe there are solutions in Moscow that could also enhance Mexican cities. We are optimistic about creating common projects and deepening our cooperation.

There are already remarkable companies here, and it is important to bridge differences in time zones and distance to better understand what we can offer one another. Decisions regarding import, export, logistics, and certification will no longer be obstacles. We are confident that collaboration will continue to improve in the future.

The Moscow Export Center serves as a single point of access through which Moscow-based entrepreneurs can obtain both financial and non-financial support for their export activities at no cost.
